The Phantom Skein

In the aftermath of the destruction of Artisans Sans Frontières (ASF), Big Boss falls into a coma. Nine years later, he awakens and helps lead a new craft group, the Diamond Dogs. Adopting the codename "Scissors Snake", he goes to track down the people responsible for ASF's destruction. While he is initially driven to exact revenge, Snake unearths a plan to craft a new Metal Gear out of Snake's signature medium: the cardboard box.

FAQs

What should I bring to Craft Day?

You should bring your craft and anything you need to work on it, including lighting (if needed). There are several places to work:

• My dining room - this is a table that's a nice solid work surface, but the light is pretty low in here (especially once the sun sets). Also the sun can be blinding while it sets.
• My living room - comfy sofa and chairs, with light that should be fine for most projects that don't require a table and aren't super small. This is a nice place for knitting, crocheting, drawing, moral support, etc. It's in loud talking distance of the dining room, so you won't be totally left out of that conversation if you don't want to be.
• My garage - if you are bringing an extremely messy project you'll be banished down here. There is a table to work on. If it is cold out the garage hovers around 50°F, so if you think you'll end up working here bring a sweater!

What is the parking situation?

I have two driveways (this is less fancy than it sounds). Feel free to park in whichever one speaks to your heart. You can also park on the street in front of my house if you need to leave early and/or are worried about getting parked in.

Will there be food?

Lunch will be provided! It will probably be shepherd's pie. If you would prefer to bring your own lunch, you are welcome to. I won't be offended.

I usually also have some snacks available. If you have a special snack you would really like to eat, though, please bring your own.

Will there be drinks?

I can only guarantee water. I also usually have seltzer (lemon and grapefruit). If there is a special fun drink that you would like to drink, please bring your own.

Can I put stuff in your fridge?

If it fits...

What's with the nonsense at the top there?

At some point I started numbering Craft Day, and then I put a subtitle on it, and then the subtitles became puns, and then the puns got so terrible I added silly plot summaries to try to explain the puns, and now I'm doing it just because I think I'm funny.
